The aim of the book is to share my experience in hope to inspire and educate others that Cancer does not necessarily mean death. The audience I plan to target is people that need a positive view rather than a defeatist attitude about living with a terminal illness. This will be open to anyone that has either been diagnosed or is supporting a person with cancer.

About the Book
This is a true narrative about my own life living with cancer. I am the main character and the content is based on my treatments and the challenges I am confronted with while also touching on my will and determination to live. The story discusses the concept that those in the community and in hospital talk about cancer as though it is automatically related to dying. It also expresses the dislike I feel when being spoken to like I’m in God’s waiting room. The story centres around my diagnosis of Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer in 2017 and my refusal to just give up and die.
About the Author
Frankie is a first time author, her knowledge comes from her personal experience living with Cancer. Frankie has worked in the welfare system for over twenty years. from working with people who are disadvantaged, homeless, has a disability, mental illness. she also has worked with young people having challenging behaviours, and woman in the refuges located at Kings cross of Sydney. She has her diploma’s in both Youth and Community work, studied two years in Gestalt therapy. 2019 has completed statement of attainment in writing course.
