You are like a ship at sea which doesn’t have a port. The waves throw you about as they please, carry you from one side to the other. You think that you are able to control this boat, but the truth is that you are tossed by even the slightest (emotional) breeze. Because you do not know where your port is, you do not have a place to relax. You just sail and sail and it makes you more and more tired and weary. Sometimes you even feel like it’s not you at the helm. You blame the wind or bad weather, water quality, birds… everything and everyone because you cannot see that you are alone in this boat. You need company, so you identify yourself with everything you have ever seen. But the others are simply not in your boat. You just imagine that they are part of your boat, but it's your ego that takes each new initiative and identifies with it. Suddenly you will begin to feel that it is actually you or at least part of you! Suddenly you start to feel it, you can even see it, that the reason why you crashed was that stupid wave that took you away, or that it was caused by that bird that tore the sail, or by the rock at the bottom of the ocean… anything except you! But in fact, it was you who crashed… but you were too tired to notice because you were asleep… After all, you hadn’t taken a rest for how many years?
