Come Quickly

Turn off your phone and TV. Find a quiet place and listen. God is trying to speak to you. Look for Him, seek His face, and listen. If God were trying to speak to you right now, what would he say? “Do you know how much I love you? Do you trust me? Come to me, come back. Come quickly and follow me. Do not look to the right or to the left. Keep your eyes on me”. God speaks to us and sometimes may even have other people speak to us for Him. Does this sound crazy? I can hear you saying, God only spoke to people in the Bible. I don't believe this is true. Nor do I believe God uses a burning bush or angel every time he wants to convey a message. God is everywhere. He can communicate in whatever way He chooses. However, how many people have you heard of who say God spoke to them? They are either lying or they are crazy, right? Well, have it your way and don’t believe. Then, don’t be surprised when you dream about something totally odd one night and can’t help but to wonder if it was God trying to talk to you. If he can’t get your attention one way, he will get it another. Why is He speaking to us? He is providing direction. This guidance will help us stay on His path by using our conscious as a communication tool. When we listen to this inner voice, we will make better choices. He guides us if we can quiet our own thoughts and let go of our stubbornness long enough to listen. God does not want us to suffer any more than necessary, but we need to learn how to have a relationship with Him. Once you can see God from a different perspective, you will find the truth in your life. If God exists in all dimensions, then He can certainly come in and out of this one to communicate with us when He wants. How does God communicate with us? Subconsciously, consciously, directly, indirectly? He will speak to us today if we learn to listen. He won’t shout. Perhaps you feel His presence while reading a book or magazine because the content calls out to you. You can hear him in music because it touches your heart. You can over hear people talking to one another while you’re waiting for your coffee and hear something that speaks to you. There are many ways God communicates to us. People today often speak of being present in the moment and living for the ‘now’. Well, while you’re hear now, listen for God’s message because he’s been waiting to tell you something.
