Without my being conscientiously aware of it, my aunt was peeling back layer upon of hurt, anger and mistrust from your soul. Gradually the healing light of God’s love permeated my entire being. I was beginning to understand what she said about patience being a natural state for those that trusted the Lord. The most critical message she relayed was that when God ask you to do something He has the means to do it already planned out. Asking her how someone would know that it is actually God asking, she looked me straight in the eye and calmly said, “something in your heart will stir, and you will know.” Spending time with her was spiritual transformation. The seeds of wisdom she planted continue to grow.

About the Book
After retiring from the military Heather took on the task of raising young children as well as she could. Having a lifelong relationship with God she trusted Him to provide all the support needed to accomplish her mission. As Joan of Arc trusted her voices guiding her, Heather knew she could trust the path God set before her as well. Her journey along the way is a testament in trusting the guiding forces. With the support of many others she accomplished her most important mission of all.
About the Author
Heather Anne Porterhaus is originally from Stevens Point, Wisconsin. When she was 4 years old her family relocated to Gary, Indiana for 7 years and then relocated to Chicago, Illinois. Eventually her parents divorced and as the oldest, she helped her father raise her young siblings. After college she joined the Army eventually retiring in Indiana. Retirement was cut short when she found herself once again raising children. This time it was several young children given to her to raise.
