Going in and out of hospital with Lucas for chemo over many months, although a horrific time, showed us what strength, courage, courtesy and pride he maintained at such a difficult time in his life. It was amazing how we became so used to the ups and downs of chemo and hospital life, but we all had the main goal in sight, of getting through this and moving on from here.
