About the Author

Hi, my name is George Naike, and I am the author of Chiseled Intelligence. This book is inspired by intuitive inspirations I have received over the past few years. Among others, I have studied metaphysics for several years, with extensions to philosophy, psychology, parapsychology, mysticism . . . and continue to do so. I have extensive knowledge (theoretical and practical) of the journey into self, and I continue to be a student in the understanding of human nature.

It is my childhood dream to become an author and write books that inspire people. I set out to merely record inspirational thoughts that I received over a three-year period but concluded with such a privileged position of writing Chiseled Intelligence, which I am now sharing with you. This book is not based purely on intellectual endeavour. My indelible passion for the advancement of humanity and kindness amongst people of all nations to one another formed my starting point.

I am the youngest of eight. I was born in Nigeria, West Africa. By the age of six, I was placed at a boarding school. My secondary education was also at a boarding school. It was a good thing to have a good education and to be taught ways and means of independence from an early age. However, it is not that simple. There were many obstacles to achieving a life of maturity and self-reliance from as early as the age of ten—for example, taking responsibility for my affairs, while others had the opportunity of having their parents and family to inform them on how to go about things. Joining the Boy Scouts was one of the interesting things that could happen to me. Sports, particularly boxing, played an important role in my teenage years.

At approximately twenty-one years of age, I moved to England, where I studied and worked for an engineering company. At the same time, I was a manager of youth accommodation for several years. My university education was in London, England. I graduated from the University of Westminster with a post-graduate degree in housing and became a corporate housing practitioner. I moved to Australia in the year 2012, where I now work and live with my beautiful family and relatives. I am married with two children. I have worked for charity almost all my adult working life, and my current work is a great complement to charitable organisations.

I am a humanitarian and a proponent of kindness among all peoples of the world. I also have interest in self-development. It is my intention to reach out to the world through words of inspiration. I do get inspirational thoughts and convert these into words and reflect them in my actions. It doesn't make me perfect, and I make mistakes like anyone else, but it gives me a real sense of pleasure and duty to my fellow human beings. I sometimes share my inspirations with family, friends, and co-workers and the response have been overwhelmingly supportive that I might want to consider writing a book that people can read and be inspired by. It is my wish to travel the world even further and bring my message of hope and kindness to humanity.

I currently live in Wahroonga, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
