About the Book
Annabelle is so excited for the summer to begin. On the last day of school, she finds it very hard to participate in the class activities. She comes up with a plan to end the school day earlier by changing the time on the classroom clock to set off the bell! This causes more havoc than she thought possible. The class pet breaks free; Miss Jones tries to catch the gerbil who runs into the hallway, and poor Principal Jones trips and falls! Annabelle learns of patience during this mischievous and a little embarrassing lesson.
About the Author
Judy is the mother of two grown girls born only a year apart. The funny and sometimes awkward scenarios found in the Annabelle books are inspired by the experiences of Judy’s two children as she helped them navigate through their own life experiences. Judy has found a way to bring these stories to life. She encourages children today to find humor in not-so-funny circumstances, warmth and compassion in sad ones, and to emerge from all situations knowing how much they are loved by their family and friends, no matter what the outcome! Her wish is that all children grow up in this world with confidence and knowing that there is kindness and love to be found in all situations.
