The Fourth Kind
Seated within the flower of radiance sit seven lords from
the space-time above us helping and guiding through
infinite wisdom the pathway through time of the children
of men. Mighty and strange they veiled with their power,
silent all knowing drawing the life force, different and yet
one with the Children of Light.
—The Emerald Tablets
As my journey to enlightenment progressed, I started to have several
paranormal experiences. I became aware of this one night when I was
watching TV. As I walked the fine line between the state of being awake
and asleep, I started to feel a tingling around my face, and I also felt a
loud buzzing and heard a faint ringing. At that moment, I knew there was
something in my presence, but I never had an experience like that before
so I wasn’t sure what to do. I sat there and felt the presence around me,
and I thought to myself, “Is this a ghost?”
As soon as I thought that contemplation, synchronistically as if by
magic, the TV answered me. The movie was playing in perfect timing with
the finishing of my thought, and it replied, “We are not ghosts,” which
astonished me because it was a definite answer to my question.
After that experience, I took a profound interest in extrasensory
perception (ESP). I started to study day and night to learn everything I
could to help me understand the phenomena I was experiencing. During
my time of intensive study, I decided I would go see a psychiatrist at a local
American Legion.
When I went there, we didn’t talk about things that most war veterans
would discuss. Instead we talked about my spiritual experiences I was
having, and he took notice that I was carrying a book about ESP. When
he noticed, he mentioned to me that I had a gift. He gave me a couple
techniques to relax, like the ol’ “putting your worries in a box, putting
them on a rocket ship, and sending them to the sun” trick. Then he sent
me on my way and told me to come back the following week.
As time went on, I kept having more experiences. One night I was just
lying in bed half-asleep and half-awake when, all of a sudden, I felt tingling
around me, along with buzzing and ringing. I just laid there with my eyes
closed as it continued. It went on for about two minutes, and then all of a
sudden, it was like I was being lifted up in a rainbow-colored tube of light,
sort of like the tunnel you go down at Space Mountain at Disneyland. The
frequency was extremely high, and then I don’t remember anything after
that. I just woke up in my bed the next morning, thinking it was very
peculiar, but of course I had no explanation of what happened.
When the next week came, I went to my appointment with my
psychiatrist, and when I arrived, I saw a man who was in his mid-fifties in
the waiting room. He was talking to someone else, and I noticed him as
I was waiting to see the psychiatrist. He approached me and introduced
himself, which was unusual of course. He was very informed.
He told me that he had been a commander in the navy and he had
been on different aircraft carriers and submarines. There was a bar there, so
he led me there to sit down and talk to him. The things he was discussing
were very out of the ordinary. He mentioned things, like how easy it
would be to get a nuke into the United States and all someone would have
to do is put it in a boat and row it to shore. He also mentioned that, if it
were up to him, he would have the president of Iran assassinated. I wasn’t
sure what that was all about at the time, but he did give me his number
and told me to call him for lunch sometime, which made it clear that he
wanted to talk to me.
Around this time, strange events kept happening. One time I noticed
a car pull up to the house and start to take pictures. Another time when I
went to church, the man who talked to me from the American Legion was
there. When I entered the building, they were having service, and he was in
there, coincidently talking to someone I knew from high school. He knew
I was going to be there. After the service was over, he approached me again
and offered me a ride home. I rode home with him, and our conversations
were, of course, not the usual discussion. It was all about the military,
which was easy to talk about.
At the end of the conversation, he made a comment to me nonchalantly
about a topic that most people never bring up. He mentioned to me that he
had always been interested in aliens. At that time, I had no solid knowledge
about extraterrestrials so I could not carry that conversation any further.
So we ended the chat there, and I got out of the car to return to my house.
