About the Book
What is Down syndrome?
Down syndrome is when a child is born with an extra copy of chromosome 21. (Chromosomes are what makes you you!) This extra copy affects mental and physical development. About 1 in 700 babies are born with Down Syndrome each year. Kids born with DS go to school, play sports, and can do anything anyone else can do; it just may take a bit longer.
About the Author
Cindy Lasi is a first-time author, nurse, and mother of four amazing children. Noah, for whom the book is written, is now twenty-one months old. “I have always loved to share books with my children. I believe reading to your child is a wonderful way to help them learn and develop imagination.” Cindy feels that children of all abilities will enjoy reading this book or having it read to them. It promotes sound moral values that show us in a simple and fun way how we should be in the world. Cindy intends to follow this book with a small series of NO LIMIT NOAH adventure books. They will feature the illustrated Noah introduced in this book, as well as a few new characters.

Alex Acayen is an animator by profession. He has had the pleasure of working in television for respected companies including Disney, Hanna-Barbara, Klasky-Csupo (Rugrats) and Nickelodeon Studios. His works include direct-to-video and web series such as Disney’s Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. Alex is currently illustrating children’s books and working in character design for mobile games, interactive books, e-books, print and activity books. Alex admits that most of his inspiration comes from his two boys and his lovely wife. Alex resides in the beautiful Philippines.
