The child within

A child is born a glorious innocent being. It is uncontaminated purity, joy, radiance and love. It is light and delight and is aware of who it is. Every child is born with the Christ light within. Righteousness (right-use-ness) promotes it and false thought perverts it.

Society begins programming the child with ‘un-right-use’ thoughts very early on. It is indulged and chastised. Polarities abound and the child is pushed and pulled from one to another, and often deeply hurt and forgotten. This child is within you forever after, and plays a major part in determining your adult behaviour. The child, the adult, and the parent form part of you.

Tap into the pristine innocent child to see clearly. Look at life through those eyes of wonder; at the simple delights all around you. Learn how to be playful again, as life is too serious in most. The squirrel delights in finding a nut and the child in you delights in watching this. Life is a cycle of delight when viewed through the eyes of innocence. This is our Father’s Will for you.

Dance freely like a child. Music feeds the soul and enriches the love felt in your heart. Be aware of feeling this. Sometimes music engenders awe, power, majesty or reverence. At other times it creates the desire to dance. An exquisite melody creates simple joy and delight. All of those feelings come from your innocent child. Bring forth this little one, by listening to music that can create all of these feelings. Choose the genre that you need in the moment. Negative feelings can dissolve in the presence of the beauty in music, so open your heart to it, and recognize its power to heal and raise your vibration. The innocence of the child contains the wisdom of understanding how to be in this world.

Suffering is added to the child through programming. Parents, teachers and other adults follow their own childhood programming when unaware. They do not want to be like their parents, but in that judgement they nonetheless do so in various ways. As an adult you are responsible for unloading your own stored suffering, and resolving to add none to those in your care, and neither to yourself.

A child who is taught about the heart will learn tolerance, understanding and compassion, and these facets will become the bedrock of the child’s psyche. Children reach for the stars. Become that child that you were. Take the time to sit outside under a full moon, a sky full of stars, and feel close to the cosmos in all of its radiance. Watch the sun rise and set on the horizon and feel the beauty and the power. This can regenerate every cell in the body. Walk on the grass barefooted with mindfulness. Feel Mother Earth’s intimate connection with the sun, moon and all of the cosmos.

Get out of your cities and into nature. Look at it without labelling parts of it separately. When you were a child, you spent hours in the bush. You labelled none of the trees and birds. This is pure awareness of everything as simply being. You unconsciously soaked up and gave love to all in nature. You were drawn there for the peace, love and joy of this communion. Mankind needs to spend time every day in this manner. Even rocks, mountains and deserts contain palpable loving energy along with their majesty.

It is no use being in nature without awareness. The value is in feeling the love, power and beauty. If you will open your heart to nature, she will feed you with whatever healing you require. She will give you courage, strength, and love. Her compassion for the suffering of mankind envelopes all who seek her nurturing. Nature feels your thoughts and emotions, as it is connected to the All. If you become still enough, you will hear its understanding, love and uplifting thoughts. This is particularly potent when you love and care about the welfare of the world of nature.

As you walk through a forest, be aware of all that is part of its creation - the sun shining through the branches, dancing in patches on the ground, the wide spectrum of colour it produces, the sparkling and twinkling areas, the soil and the fallen leaves that become part of new soil, the water that feeds the trees, the mosses and ferns. Feel the aliveness of it all. Feel the beauty, stillness, majesty and expansiveness. Sit and absorb this. Feel yourself expanding and merging with the forest. You are inseparable. In your imagination you can visit here anytime, and know who you are.

Look into my eyes as you envisage me. I am your brother and I walk with you every day. Whenever you disallow the ego voice, you can hear my guidance. When you see only holiness in your brothers, you are joined with me.
